Chef Curtis Rock Henry is the Executive Chef and co-owner of Chef Rock Enterprises, LLC. He’s a graduated of the prestigious Institute of Culinary Education and Kevin Zarly’s Window of the World Wine School-both in NYC.

Chef Rock was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa. Rock’s passion for cooking began as a child observing his mother and grandmother’s in the kitchen. Both women prepared southern style lunch meals for the surrounding neighbor factory workers. Chef Rock’s mother, Cecile, a French Canadian from Victoriaville, Quebec, graduated from the Philadelphia Restaurant School and was a significant inspiration in her son life.

Chef Rock joined the Army at 17 years old and traveled the world while grasping knowledge of varies cuisines in Southeast Asia, Caribbean, Europe, Middle East, Canada and American Samoa/South Pacific-spanning over 35 years. His significant military/culinary background transitioned into a multitude of solid experience in event planning, hospitality and culinary arts. Currently, Chef Rock is an active duty Army Colonel who is retiring from an illustrious military career this year and just launched his House Call Chef business full-time.

Chef Rock honed his skills while training under Executive Chef Leisa, Executive Chef and owner of LL Dent Southern-Style Restaurant in Long Island, NY. He also worked on television sets with Food Network’ s Chef Daisy Martinez and hosted a cooking episode in Pittsburgh, PA.
